Submitting and Managing Your Service Requests (Residents)

This article will walk you through how to submit a service request and view your service requests in ActiveBuilding as a resident.

 

There are two different views shown below for service requests and your view depends on your property management's configuration.

How to Submit a Service Request

 

VIEW 1

To submit a service request go to My Dashboard > Service Requests > Submit a Request.

 

Fill out the service request form below. When finished click "Submit Service Request". Once submitted, your service request will be sent directly to your management team to review.

VIEW 2

To submit a service request go to Quick Links > Submit a Request. Fill out the form provided. When finished click "Submit". Once submitted, your service request will be sent directly to your management team to review.

 

Managing and Viewing Service Requests

VIEW 1 

To access your Service Request module go to My Dashboard > Service Requests. At a glance you are able to see your open service requests.  You are able to view previous service requests by using the drop down menu outlined below.

Clicking on the "Details" link will expand your service request and you are able to see more information.

VIEW 2

To access your Service Request module go to My Dashboard > Service Requests. At a glance you will see all of your open service requests. Use the drop down menu to toggle through past service requests.

 

Clicking on a open service request will expand to more details. Here you will be able to see the status, messages, and notes to your service request.
