Inviting a Resident by Email or by Printing an Invitation (Non-OneSite Users)

This article will explain how a staff user with standard or admin level access can invite a resident to the portal by emailing a registration email or by printing out an invitation containing a registration PIN.

In the event that a resident needs to be manually added to the portal there are two ways they can register their account, sending a registration email or printing an invitation out.

To manually add a resident and send them an invite via email please follow the instructions below:

  1. From the ‘My Dashboard’ dropdown menu click on ‘Resident Management’
  2. Hover mouse over the ‘Resident Action’ dropdown menu and click on ‘Add a New Resident’
  3. Fill out the User Access Invitation pop-up accordingly
  4. Make sure ‘Invite By Email’ option is selected and press the ‘Invite’ button

To manually add a resident and print them an invitation with a registration PIN please follow the instructions below:

  1. From the ‘My Dashboard’ dropdown menu click on ‘Resident Management’
  2. Hover move over the ‘Resident Action’ dropdown menu and click on ‘Add a New Resident’ (as pictured above)
  3. Fill out the User Access Invitation pop-up accordingly (as pictured above)
  4. Make sure the ‘Print Invitation’ option is selected and press the ‘Invite’ button
  5. When ready for download the invitation will appear on screen or in the recent downloads section as managed by your browser of choice
  6. Print the invitation and provide it to the resident 

The resident will then need to access the portal login URL and click on the ‘New User? Get Started Now’ button. They will be redirected to a screen where they can enter the registration PIN and complete the registration process.
