Place an ActiveBuilding Login Form on Your Own Website

To place an ActiveBuilding login form on your own website, use the following HTML snippet as an example:

<form action="https://login.activebuilding.com/auth/login" method="post">
    <dl>
        <dt>Email:</dt>
        <dd><input type="text" name="username" value="" /></dd>
        <dt>Password:</dt>
        <dd><input type="password" name="password" value="" /></dd>
        <dt>Keep me logged in:</dt>
        <dd><input type="checkbox" name="remember" id="remember-login" value="1" /></dd>
        <dt></dt>
        <dd><a href="https://login.activebuilding.com/support/forgot-password">Forgot your password?</a></dd>
    </dl>
    <input type="submit" name="login" value="Go">
</form>

Please note the following:

  • Though this is a fully functional example, you will probably want your web designer to rearrange and style this to fit your existing website design.
  • Instead of login.activebuilding.com, you may use your own ActiveBuilding domain name (e.g. something similar to my-community.activebuilding.com) in the form action and forgot-password link if you wish your customers to see your branding when they mis-type their email or password.
