Amenity Reservations Guide

This article will walk you through how to navigate your Amenity Reservations through ActiveBuilding.

Viewing Current Amenity Reservations

Step 1

Go to My Dashboard > Reservations.

 

Step 2

You'll land on the Reservation List which will default to a list of all current reservations.  This screen will provide you with the name of the person who submitted the reservation, the unit number, amenity being reserved, and the time reserved as well as the date/time it was submitted.

  • You can change this view from a list to calendar by selecting the Calendar button.
  • From here you can select the 'Status' drop-down and cancel the reservation or select the payment drop down to mark whether any associated fees/deposits have been paid and how.  

Editing a Reservation

Step 1

Go to My Dashboard > Reservations > Reservation List > Edit Reservation. 

Step 2

Edit the check-in date/time and duration as needed > Click 'Continue' > Answer any questions related to the amenity if there are any > Click 'Submit'.

Step 3

A message will appear on the screen confirming that the reservation was successfully updated.

Viewing Past Amenity Reservations

Staff can view all amenity reservations up to 60 days.  If you need additional past reservations, please contact support@activebuilding.com.

Step 1

  • To view past Amenity Reservations go to My Dashboard > Reservations > Select 'Past Reservations' from the drop-down menu.

  • You can then use the drop down next to 'For' to change from All Amenities to viewing only a particular one.

 

Reserving an Amenity on behalf of a Resident

Residents are able to reserve Amenities by logging into their ActiveBuilding account but the staff is also able to reserve an Amenity on the resident's behalf.

Step 1

Go to My Community > Amenities or Quick Links > Reserve Amenity.

 

Step 2

Navigate to the amenity that the resident wants to reserve and select 'Reserve This Amenity'.

Step 3

Select "Reserve on behalf of a unit" the enter the unit number requesting the reservation.  Enter the check-in date, time, duration, and click 'Continue'. 

Step 4

Complete any of the required additional information fields, select the acknowledgment check box, and click 'Submit'.  

Step 5

You're all done!  The resident will receive a confirmation that their reservation has been made.
